I ordered a bike online - needed a bit of help understanding the sizes and the online chat guy was so helpful and a credit to the company. I received a call the following morning at around 8:30, which I couldn't answer. A message was left asking when I would like the bike built for. I tried calling back 6 times that day, with the phone ringing out every time. I eventually received a call back telling me that the bike was out of stock, and the only one they had was the display model - which I wanted to see before I confirmed to. I popped in on my way home from work - found the bike, but no bike staff.I tried calling again the following day to talk about the purchase - no answer again. So, I have made 19 calls to the Blackpool store over 3 days - no calls have been answered. I will buy a bike from somewhere else.
I went this place to buy a dash camera. I had some question. The staff member was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. I spend 30 mminute waiting for a member of staff to finally being disrespect. I ask if there will be a problem if my car is black box fitter. (To plunge into ignition point). The answer was disrespectful, member of staff was actually more focus on eating a pen in his mouth rather than help me.
Went to Halfords blackpool today with a view to buy a bycle for my grandson after waiting quite a long time to be served I found the staff member rude and unconcerned when i asked him to check his stock to see if they had in store a particular bycle as the one on display was for display only i walked out of the store in disgust with my grandson who was quite upset! I certainly will not be visiting Halfords again.
There never seems to be enough staff in the bike department.On many occasions i have had to wait and wait and this can be on any given day!Also why does no one ever answer the phone! I was told my bike would be ready at 1pm but I thought I'd phone first just to make sure, but hey nobody answered the phone and what a surprise when i got there it wasn't ready!!
I usually get the majority of things here if I can't find elsewhere. Halfords isn't the cheapest place by far however it's convenient and has a good selection of products on the shelf, or can be ordered in quickly enough. You can also reserve online and pay on collection. They ring or text to say you can collect and again it's quite quick, often within an hour or so.
