Helen Ashmore Funeral Service dealt with the passing of my dear Mum in December 2018. Despite the bad timing, Helen and her staff were contactable throughout. My mum passed on a Sunday, and there was no delay in transferring my mum to a more peaceful place to rest. The Chapel of Rest at the establishment is a beautiful room, with a lovely fragrance, serene candles and perfect lighting. I have lovely memories of visiting my mum there. Helen will also accommodate any requests willingly, so mum had a beautiful outfit on that I chose, her nails painted in her favourite colour, and lots of jewellery added, plus a spray of perfume. The planning and conduction of the ceremony was perfectly planned, every question answered speedily, every detail attended to with willingness. A very classy and respectful service from Helen and her team, which lots of people commented on. Afterwards, Helen also suggested little things (like picking some flowers from the coffin display to keep, having my own small urn to cherish) that now mean so much to me. Ultimately, Helen and her team made a very sad and stressful part of my life so much easier. You can just leave it to them and theyll undoubtedly deliver a second to none service, with an abundance of care and compassion. I would highly recommend Helen Ashmore Funeral Services.
Today was a very sad day, but the whole of the arrangements from first enquiry to today's service was carried out with sensitivity, efficiency, and attention to our family and friends was second to none. A discrete but much needed presence in a difficult time. Thank you
