A great attraction with a lot of interesting facts and figures.Great for all ages.Can happily walk about the attraction for a couple of hours.
Went with 4 year old and 18mth old. Was fairly quiet when we were there so was good as kids got to have a proper wander about. Some good little exhibitions for kids and not too big for smaller ones.
Fun little place with decent entrance prices. You can literally spend hours in there if you take your time and really look around and enjoy the exhibits. Staff were very helpful and the gift shop is fairly priced unlike some shops attached to attractions. Quite autism friendly but sadly not wheelchair accessible due to stairs and sharp turns.
Didn't enjoy it all that much! There isn't much to do in Blackpool during low season, so my husband and I came here just to kill some time before heading off. We were a bit biased I suppose as the other Ripley's we've been to before is the one in Orlando. We saw a lot of the exact same things, and other things were similar. The things unique to Blackpool were just the seaside 'blue humour' from the 60s kind of thing. Terribly outdated, especially these days. There's not a lot to interact with, and didn't even take any photos there. Tried one of the fortune telling machines but it didn't work. This place is in need of a revamp. It certainly can't compete with Madame Tussauds or the Horror Crypt. 3 stars because it will help you kill some time and perhaps peak your interest if you haven't visited one before. I'm sure most kids would get some enjoyment and wonder from the experience. Otherwise I wouldn't waste your time or money, sorry!
Very quirky and worth a visit. Book in advance for a couple of quid off (can book the day before). Lots of weird puzzles and interesting facts inside. Take s a good hour with the family if you look round everything.
