Well my grandson has just started here and he loves it. Excellent sport facilities and staff very willing to help. Had a few teething problems with a few pupils but I've got to say, the staff have been fantastic at sorting it all out. Great school and would highly recommend it......
My Grandchild went here but got nothing but bullied and nothing got done about it it is disgraceful don't send your child there
Horrendous excuse of a school. They don't listen when children are getting bullied with death threats. They allow the bullies to walk away scot free with no repercussions which is pathetic. I've been to multiple meetings regarding a family member who's being bullied at this school and it's always the same answer. "This Is the first I've heard about it." When it gets to the point that my family member is pleading to be taken out so they can be homeschooled, it goes to show how little effort South Shore Academy puts into the wellbeing and care of their students. I strong advise against taking your children here. Anywhere's better than this sad excuse for an education establishment.
This school is honestly the worst, I've been there for less than a year and already I've been threatened, bullied and treated unfairly. The teachers don't do anything about the bullies and they don't seem to punish the bad students and treat the good ones. The only thing the're good at is being the worst.
Right where shall I start.. this school is an absolute joke, their rules are ridiculous they go against children's rights (human rights infact). We moved here from Oxford in 2013 and regret choosing this school for my son and daughter, my other children will not be attending here, not if it was the last school on earth. My daughter was bullied for over a year, I went to the school for a meeting and was told it would be delt with, it wasn't. Instead a few weeks later my daughter was told by her head of year "if you don't like it move school". This school is so disorganised to the point of students not having a clue what their meant to be doing. They have a big discrimination problem and single out and target certain pupils. The people running this school should be working in the blackpool circus. Avoid this school, please do not send your children here..
