Great store. Plus if you never been to this store. There are more different shops close by. And plenty of parking spaces. Free too
I am so disappointed in Booths. Me and my friends were having a nice lunch, we had bought food from the hot food counter downstairs. We then proceeded to go upstairs and get drinks from the cafe and then sit in and have a drink and eat our lunch. Unfortunately the moment we walked we were shouted at by the woman on the till telling us that we shouldve paid for our food in the cafe. She let us sit down and have our lunch. Unfortunately about twenty minutes into our lunch we were aggressively approached by the cafe manager telling us that we needed to leave because we couldnt eat our food in there. She then packed up OUR food that we hadnt eaten yet and told us to leave.This is unacceptable and I will NOT be returning to booths. I am so disappointed and felt completely victimised as we were stereotyped as soon as we walked through the door. We were no trouble and completely polite even though we were met with such prejudice.
I have always been a fan of Booths which stems from my Grandma loving her local Booths. Super local produce. Some prices can be very expensive but they do have offers on. Everything is of superb quality. Delicious oils and vinegars. Good selection of gins. I would love to do my weekly shop here but just buy my luxury goods.
Modern supermarket with delicatessen offerings from their meat and cheese counter. Prices are however quite high in comparison with everywhere else. Sometimes it is worth it whereas others it is not at all! The cafe upstairs is very good, nice drinks, snacks. The ambiance is very nice and comfortable for a supermarket cafe.
A lovely supermarket. Their produce is excellent from the hot counter that serves everything you need for family meals, the Butchers who have different products and the cheese and olive counters. The staff are polite and professional. We love to go there to do our shopping and to have a coffee and a cake in the coffee shop.
