Welcoming atmosphere, good service and excellent food and all inside a beautiful building.
I went with a couple of friends and had the Christmas afternoon tea, I think it was 18.95 per person. You can see from the photo from the bottom tier working up it has sandwiches at the bottom, starters in the middle and desserts at the top. Each tier has 5 items each and we're all scrumptious. You can have an everyday afternoon tea anytime but you have to book in advance so they can prepare them. Afterwards you can stroll round the gardens and park to work it off. There is ample parking at the caf and on the road leading up.
