Went with chest pains and giddiness A&E staff were not bothered no test no ecg no blood pressure etc, on the other hand can't fault the primary care doctor I saw very polite and approachable and dud the tests triage should have done. I'd have to be dying to return here
This hospital has done so much good for me. Saved my life on 2 occasions plus keeping me on my toes thank you to all staff doctors nurses cleaners porters admin staff X-ray staff ward staff I could go on. Thanks again.
My friend was taken by ambulance to hospital disgusting they discharged my friend who went in that morning with bleeding ulcer, he's a vulnerable person the ambulance people were great they wrote on notes to call me with my phone number did they heck as like.. I called at four thirty to be told he been released at four.. he had no money no coat no shoes it was a very cold night..new year. Well it took us till 6.30 pm to find him in reception oh they staff said they gave him two pounds bu fare... he didnt have a clue which bus to get he was ill ........ I was very mad still am but am told this happens all the time how is that caring ......i know the nhs and most of time they do a wonderful job but getting it right at grass root level is needed.....

What a great Memorial at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital for the lost soldiers. Amazing memorabilia in the foyer of the main entrance. Excellent service here if you are lost just look for the volunteers in Orange shirts known as Navigators they will assist you.
