I got a quote from a very reputable jewler (Cole's) and from here for a size increase to a wedding band and a reduction to an engagement ring. The quotes were the same. So, as I prefer to do business with small family businesses, I gave it to Morans. What a mistake!Though he claimed to do work on site, he sent the engagement ring away to a workshop. When it came back, the hallmark had disappeared. He did the wedding band enlargement himself, poorly. I got the ring back with tooling marks all around the inside of the ring.After a terse exchange on the telephone, he denied that there was ever a hallmark on the engagement ring and claimed the marks on the wedding band to be nothing unusual.If you get any work done with this cowboy, take detailed pictures of your jewelry BEFORE handing them to him. Also, record your interactions with him.(The proprietor's excuses follow...)

Great little family run jewellers. I had been all over blackpool trying to get my necklace repaired and nobody could help. I found this hidden gem (no pun intended) of a place and it was fixed within a couple of days! Great price as well.
