Just read the latest review and thought I had to comment. I cant stand people that lie and knowing that people would believe Any lies they see. First of all not sure if this gent remembers the lady that was being served on the right by the other young girl that day.. the truth is.. the post office were not charging him extra.. I am a regular customer and the staff there are down to earth.. Ive seen customers come and go they are very down to earth.. the situation that happened with the gent was a complete different story and in the witness. The gent was sending a parcel which I remember was over 2kg and value was over 50 The staff was helping him with his packaging and delivering the best option.. I run a business and send parcels as a part of it so I know how parcels work by doing my research properly which obviously this gent didnt do. He argued and argued which was unnecessary and very rude even though the staff doesnt need to take such nastiness from a customer they didnt react and just carried on being polite The gent was arguing about paying the parcelforce price which is around 14 tracked and singed with the valued covered. You cant expect to have everything without paying the priceYes the prices are different onlineThen he says over charging the prices are set prices on a screen like they are in a supermarket You cant just change things to your wishes If anyone should apologise for such lies and stupidy should be the gent.I told the staff when leaving. Dont let such disgusting behaviour of people get to you.. some people are ill mannered They smiled and said dont worry.. I would recommend this post office 100 times to anyone. They are very respectful And an advice to the world - dont judge something until youve experienced it yourselfSome people like to be a keyboard warrior And let their stupidity get in the way

Will not use this post office ever again, tried to hard sell me delivery options that were more expensive than I was prepared to pay, had 3 members of staff, 2 female and 1 male ganging up on me and other customers with a hard sel on expensive delivery options, even when I said numerous times I wanted the cheaper option they kept pushing me and becoming very rude and unhelpful, they then tried to over charge me for the weight of the item when I had previously weighed it at home, somebody that hadnt done this would have been paying more than they should. I wouldnt recommend anybody use this post office, especially anybody old, naive or vulnerable as you will most certainly be ripped off.

Don't go here unless you want to be abused and know all about Royal Mail and Post Office procedures as they EXPECT you to.Awful attitude from the girl there. I asked for a postage refund on a lost recorded delivery letter. First of all she wanted to check the item hadn't been delivered. Then she declared it was delivered! I asked that she check the track no she input and she had input the wrong no! Then she told me "that's nothing to do with us". I looked at her quizzically and she said "you go to Royal Mail" In her defence she did give me a Royal Mail claim form but it was about compensation and I only wanted a refund of postage. I pointed this out to her and she suddenly pushed her face into mine exclaiming "AND WHY SHOULD WE GIVE YOU 1.77" which was the cost of postage. I stared at her again and she told me their only job was to give the letter to Royal Mail and my problem was with Royal Mail. Never having worked at Royal Mail or Post Office Ltd the nuances between the 2 were lost on me so I didn't believe her and walked saying "We'll see". Adamant that she would have the last word she answered back "YES....WE WILL SEE!" Turned out she was right about claiming from Royal Mail but wrong on how much could be claimed. The obstructive unhelpful attitude absoloutely stunk. I won't be going there again!Maybe she was sulking because she had to work on a Saturday.......
