Very poor customer service. Exchanged a 65 plate Kuga for a 15 plate Fiesta so we where owed about 5000 by Evans Halshaw. We where told it would take 3 - 5 working days for the transfer, after 5 days nothing received. My wife had to chase the repayment, they then blamed Barclays Bank online systems where down????. They had clearly never started the repayment process when they said they would. We then had to ring again on working day seven to speak to the Manager Ryan. Three hours later we received the repayment. My wife rang Ryan to explain we had finally received the repayment, and asked if he felt this was acceptable. Ryan offered a half hearted apology and he could possibly arrange a bit of discount when we needed the Fiesta servicing. Would we take the car to Evans Halshaw for a service? NOWould we take our custom there again? NOWould we recommend them? Definite NO
This review is about Evans halshaw and not runabouts. Bought a 11plate focus titanium with no issues from runabouts, went to get fly wheel and clutch replacement and after the change the car made metal knocking sounds. The staff and mechanics both agreed it sounds like something was loose, yet they have been unable to find it. After a month of them keeping the car without me having any sort of temp car I was told by Ryan that they wont touch anything as nothing is broken, yet metal knocking sounds is totally normal. Putting a complaint about the garage results in the store manager closing it without anything actioned and i was told by customer concerns that its up to him what happens to complaints. Highly disappointing and won't be going back after I change this car and get the issue sorted.
Couldn't fault the service department when we called in there with a tyre pressure warning on our vehicle, after arriving in Blackpool from Birmingham the day before. They checked the pressure, took the vehicle away and 15 minutes and a coffee later we were on our way. Thank you for the great service.
