Karl Smith car sales say they put all there cars through vigorous checks....... lies! I paid 13 thousand for a Galaxy that I later find out once Ive travelled 300 miles back to Ipswich to have a dent in the boot which they made me feel like I did myself by driving forwards the whole way home. Other problems I found were the brake discs were severely worn to the point they are warped, my main ford dealer said how did it pass the m.o.t that they apparently put the car through just before my purchase. On the phone they assured me before purchasing the vehicle that it was immaculate inside and out. Again it was lies, inside the DVD players in the headrests did not work there were tears in numerous places in the leather trim throughout the car. The door lock button that locks all doors while driving did not work, the picnic tray on drivers side back of seat again was missing, seat belt buckle in center row of seats... damaged, the list goes on. Then to top it off I get a puncture the following day after purchase which is obviously not their fault but I get told by the recovery company to change the rear punctured tire and the other rear tire too as they are both near the legal limits, this was also said to be true when I get a second opinion from the tire garage. No advisory on the mot for discs or tires? What the hell! And then to top it off on the 5th day of owning the car the eml exhaust emissions light comes on for me to find out from the main dealer that its a 450 bill to fix the d.p.f vaporiser and advise me to not drive the car until the day of repair so Im left with no car for a week and a half over Christmas and the new year. Happy Christmas and a happy new year from Karl Smith car sales. Nicest chaps on the phone but will they bend over to help you? Not a chance not unless you live next door. Id never ever buy from these idiots again and would highly suggest that anyone wanting to purchase a car from this back street garage be very careful and make sure you check the vehicle in every nook and cranny before giving these people any money.1 star rating for me. Utter rubbish.
bought a car from this garage dashboard lights came on took it back kept for two days told to bring it back following week as part was ordered took it back two days later told to pick up asked what had been done to the car nothing was the reply as the lights had gone when I asked why the part wasn't fitted told there was nothing wrong my answer why did you order a part? reply I don't know will never use this garage ever again, I will take to a mechanic I have used for a number of years and find out what the problem is then decide my next move.
Shame I couldn't give this place 0 *. Felt angry, bought a car, used just like me. Blew up after a week. 800 to put it right, unbelievable, this was after I paid for warranty , not covered read small print. Disgusting service, steer clear

We have bought several cars so far over the last few years and have had no problems whatsoever. I found Jeremy honest about problems and any faults were rectified before car was handed over. Had 4 reliable, trouble free cars from them and may have been lucky but we'll be shopping there again.
